Lavand Anti-spot Lotion

Solar freckle

Age spots

The term ‘freckle’ designates small red or light brown macules which form as a consequence of sun exposure on the skin and go away in winter months. Melasma (mask of pregnancy) occurs as a result of increase in skin pigments (melanin) in women with genetic predisposition and involves the visage and neck. Melasma occurs in the second or third trimesters of pregnancy, vanishes gradually after childbirth and reappears in the next pregnancies.

Recently, special attention is being addressed to safe and efficient inhibitors of tyrosinase enzyme, due to their potential efficacy in improvement of foodstuffs and prevention of pigmentation anomalies and other issues and disorders related to melanin. Tyrosinase is generally involved in the two initial stages of melanin biosynthesis; it catalyzes melanin biosynthesis in human’s skin. The epidermis’s hyperpigmentation occurs in various dermatologic disorders including melasma, freckles and age spots. Based on the results of one study, aqueous extract of lavender, especially L. angustifolia and L. stoechas inhibit fungal tyrosine kinase and are candidates as bleaching agents in food industries. For the same reasons, Lavand anti-spot lotion, made from lavender, is used for preventing the formation of spots in the visage and body.

Its soothing, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, make lavender a valuable option for several skin conditions. Lavender essential oil accelerates healing of skin, helps modify production of sebum (skin oils) and prevents formation of scar. Lavender’s essential oil is a valuable substance for treatment of acne and limits the bacteria responsible for skin infection. Furthermore, it vigorously stimulates new cell growth and cell regeneration. Rose geranium essential oil is anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, a valuable astringent and hemostatic agent and accelerates healing processes. It is, therefore, very useful for healing of wounds. Due to its pleasant aroma, its astringent, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and sebum modulatory properties, rose geranium is used in many skin products, including those to treat acne. Rose geranium is valuable for too dry or too oily skins, also those that have oily zones (combination skins).

Depending on the affected area, apply twice a day, 2-5 drops each time.
