Barij Essence After-Sun Cream

Taking care of the skin against the sun and undesirable climatic factors

Alleviation of pain, burning sensation, inflammation and itching of the skin after sun exposure

Acceleration of healing and recovery of chronic skin wounds and wounds caused by surgery and frostbite

UV rays of the sun cause sunburn, early aging of the skin, skin cancer, cataract, suppression of the immune system and activation of latent viruses. The B fraction of UV light (UVB) creates the highest risk for skin cancers; on the other hand, early aging of the skin is attributed to the A fraction of UV light (UVA).

Barij Essence After-Sun Cream is made of Aloe vera gel and avocado oil and contains vitamins C and E. This cream, with its wonderful properties, keeps your skin healthy, especially after exposure to adverse environmental factors, such as the sun’s UV.

Aloe vera

More than 200 species of Aloe exist around the world, the most important of which for human’s health and nutrition is Aloe barbadensis Miller, which is generally known as Aloe vera (true Aloe or medical Aloe). One of the earliest recognized species as beneficial for the skin, this plant has attracted attention due to its alleviative, cooling and natural moisturizing properties. Aloe vera alleviates mild burns and moisturizes dry skin and helps skin regenerate itself.

Aloe vera gel has amino acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, proteins, polysaccharides and biologic stimulants, and so its use is recommended in various cosmetic, hygiene and medical products, including sunscreen and after-sun products. Aloe vera retains the skin’s moisture and vitality, alleviates mild skin irritations and protects the skin against adverse effects of the sun and sunburn.

Avocado oil

This oil is among the natural products that is generally accepted as an absorber of UV rays and has relatively high resistance against UV rays. Due to its cell regenerative properties, avocado oil is recommended for all skin types, especially dry, broken and sensitive skin. This oil is rich in vitamin D and the phytohormone sterol, along with lecithin and squalene.

Vitamin C

This vitamin reduces the inflammation caused by sunburn and prevents the suppression of the immune system caused by UV rays.

Vitamin E

This vitamin alleviates and moisturizes skin and helps retain the skin fibroblasts. Fibroblast cells help produce collagen, which keeps the skin smooth and helps it look younger. Vitamin E is an efficient anti-oxidant and helps reduce skin inflammations caused by overexposure to the sun and the time necessary for healing of wounds.

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the intended area and reapply if necessary.
